Education Services - Richmond, Dooley School, St. Joseph's Villa
As a K-12 school, Dooley School primarily serve students diagnosed with emotional disabilities, specific learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities and other health impairments. Staff-to-student ratio ranges from 1:6 to 1:8 depending on disabilities being served in the classroom. Local school systems place students with Dooley School to help address academic and behavioral challenges. Counselors on staff help students develop self-esteem, learn how to build relationships and be successful in their community.

We serve over 50 localities across Central Virginia with integrated services in mental and behavioral health, specialized education, developmental disabilities, and homelessness. Our goal is to provide the individuals we serve tools for long-term independence, stability and success. Operating since 1834, we are one of the longest serving nonprofits for children in the United States. St. Joseph's Villa is set on a therapeutic 82-acre campus in Henrico County and also offers community-based programming.
