The minimum requirements every applicant must meet to be considered for the program are the following: Single Moms must have minor children in their custody. The program does not accept adult-age children. Mom, as head of household, must be employed for a minimum of 35 hours per week. Must have a valid driver’s license. Must have a registered and insured vehicle. Must be homeless or at imminent risk of becoming homeless. Space is limited.

Description

The Vint Hill Transitional Housing Program is an intensive two-year program that offers single mothers with minor children the opportunity to acquire the necessary skills to manage their finances and obtain stable housing. Those meeting program requirements and goals could be eligible to participate in the program for up to two years. Program fee is based upon 30% of gross income.

Focus is on determining root cause, increasing economic self-sufficiency to break the cycle of homelessness and transform lives.
