Serves the elderly, newly disabled, terminally ill, physically/mentally disabled and persons that are homeless.

Hours

5:30pm to 8am (overnight) from Monday through Sunday

Shelter sites change weekly. Check website for locations. SHELTER BEGINS INTAKE AT 5:30 PM NIGHTLY. LATE ARRIVALS ACCEPTED. SHELTER STAFF AND SHERRIFS MAY DENY ENTRY AT THEIR DISCRETION

Program that coordinates interfaith congregations located in any area of Newport News to open their parish or social halls and provide food and shelter for individuals or families who would normally spend their nights sleeping on the streets, in cars, or perhaps in empty buildings or in the woods.
