This program provides eligible Veterans with access to Granting Freedom funds, which can be used to improve housing for veterans with a service-related disability, including installing ramps and other housing improvements designed to increase accessibility. Program staff assist veterans with applying for funds and monitor progress as projects are completed. The program also provides limited utility assistance for veterans at risk of utility shutdown/disconnection.
