Provides a long-term and rehabilitative care facility affiliated with Fauquier Hospital. Poplar Hill Health and Rehab, offers the community a unique continuity of care. The same physicians and therapists who serve at the Fauquier hospital also serve patients at the Poplar Hill Health and Rehab. Many patients recovering from surgical procedures such as total hip or knee joint replacement, or conditions such as a stroke, are placed at Poplar Hill Health and Rehab after hospitalization for several weeks of rehabilitation before going home. A pool is on site for aqua therapy. Also offers chemotherapy and oncology services, hospice care and modern services for the medically complex patient. Also offers Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) services which include physical, occupational, and speech and language therapy for all ages. The primary goal is to return patients to an active, healthy lifestyle.
