The Keep It Cool RVA! initiative serves low-income families by providing & installing AC window units June 1 - August 15. In the winter, project:HOMES provides emergency heating support as part of the state CRISIS program. Please visit https://www.dss.virginia.gov/benefit/ea/ and request project:HOMES as your vendor.

project:HOMES improves the lives and living conditions of people in need in by making critical home repairs and accessibility improvements, providing energy conservation and weatherization services, and building affordable homes. We also develop senior apartment communities. Will help low-income and elderly remain in their homes and comfortably age in place; improve accessibility and safety in the homes of the disabled; and help revitalize communities by building attractive, energy efficient, affordable homes.
