C4K combines mentoring and technology to prepare youth for brighter futures. C4K equips diverse youth from low-income households with STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) skills that prepare them to be competitive for college and career opportunities. Do so through: Supportive 1:1 and group mentoring Workshops led by staff and experts Field trips to help members explore college and career possibilities Access to industry-level technology A vibrant and fun learning environment Offer personalized, professional-level support to youth creating projects in programming, game design, electrical engineering, robotics, audio and video production, 3D modeling plus our newest tech, virtual reality. Offer two types of mentoring: One-to-one mentoring: All new youth members are matched with a mentor, and work shoulder-to-shoulder to plan, create and evaluate 1 STEAM project. Group mentoring: All members invited to drop-in any time, for group-mentoring projects.

Application process

Call for details. Becoming a Youth "Member". Prior to becoming a C4K member, youth complete an interest form and tour C4K with a parent (or their guardian, adult family member, or adult family friend). During the initial visit, members are introduced to the Clubhouse and Mentoring Studio and meet C4K staff members. C4K staff asks for ongoing parent feedback on our program. Please contact C4K to schedule a tour, or pop in between during our Clubhouse hours from 3:30pm and 7:30pm, Monday to Friday. https://c4kclubhouse.org/membership/
