Free for eligible individuals. Meals are provided at a discounted rate for individuals who to not meet eligibility requirements for free meals.

Delivers meals to homes of eligible adults 60+, in need of support due to accident, illness or frailty, and have no one to prepare their meals. Program participants are those who are at-risk of not having access to nutritious, prepared food. Fully accessible to persons with disabilities.

JABA - Jefferson Area Board for Aging
JABA offers information and a wide range of services that help older adults and individuals with disabilities remain active in the community. Services are available to those who can pay and to those who cannot. The inter-generational services include community senior centers in Charlottesville City and Albemarle, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, and Nelson counties that offer a gathering place for weekday socializing and hot lunch. Additional services include Aging Services Coordination, Home Delivered Meals, Respite & Enrichment Centers, caregiver support groups, Insurance Counseling, Senior Helpline, long-term care advocates, volunteer opportunities, and resources on home care, health services, affordable senior housing, assisted living and more.
