The Span Center, formerly know as Senior Connections, Friendship Cafés are neighborhood gathering places for older adults. Participants receive a nutritious midday meal while interacting with good friends and participating in diverse activities. Our Friendship Cafés help fight social isolation in older adults by keeping them active and connected to their community.
Span Center, The
The Span Center, formerly Senior Connections, provides resources, advocacy, support, and services to help individuals maintain quality of life and independence as they age. The agency also provides information and referral for caregivers and persons with disabilities under Virginia's No Wrong Door initiative.
