Cancer - Richmond, Every Woman's Life (EWL), Virginia Department of Health
Provides breast and cervical cancer screening services (mammogram, clinical breast exam, Pap test, pelvic exam, and patient education) through a statewide network of regional medical providers (call the Every Woman's Life toll free line at 1-866-EWL-4YOU or 1-866-395-4968). If the client is diagnosed by a BCCEDP provider with breast or cervical cancer (or pre-cancer), the client will be referred to Medicaid for treatment. This program is only available to women who qualify by age, residence and income (see Eligibility Requirements).
