Description
The Weatherization Assistance program helps households reduce energy costs by assessing and improving the overall efficiency of their homes as well as addressing health and safety issues. Energy saving measures such as air sealing, installing insulation and weather stripping, and fixing leaky ducts are provided. Safety improvements may include repairing an unsafe heating system or installing carbon monoxide and smoke detectors. All work is done by a properly certified, licensed, and insured professional team of Energy Auditors, Home Performance Contractors, and a Quality Control Inspector.
