Substance Use Inpatient Treatment - Charlottesville, Mohr Center, Region Ten Community Services Board

The Mohr Center is a residential substance use disorder treatment program for men that provides stabilization services in order to move toward independent living free of mood altering substances; commonly referred to as Recovery. The Mohr Center also provide some limited medical monitoring and assistance with medication compliance to eliminate or reduce the effects of alcohol or other drugs, and assist with the ongoing process of withdrawal. The Mohr Center provides residents with regular individual and group therapy sessions, life skills building, and case management services for aftercare planning. Men also attend acudetox services, recovery group meetings, and recreational activities in the community. For individuals identifying with a need for Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), Mohr Center will provide access to evaluations by Region Ten or other community providers.
