DRRC is a center for independent living and assists individuals with disabilities in becoming independent in their communities. Services include advocacy, peer counseling, independent living skills, and information and referral to disability-related resources. Energy assistance through Energy Share program (must call for eligibility).

Additional services include benefit planning for those on SSI or SSDI for those wishing to be employed as well as home modifications for renters through a Virginia Housing Development Authority grant.
