Homeless children and their families who are primarily from Planning District 16, which includes the City of Fredericksburg and the counties of Spotsylvania, Stafford, King George, and Caroline. In order to be considered for housing at Hope House, you must have at least one child with you or be pregnant with a child at the time you are referred to Loisann's Hope House.

Description

The Emergency Shelter program is focused on providing permanent solutions - housing, jobs, transportation and childcare needs, with an emphasis on employment and increased income - so that people can break the cycle of homelessness and become stable within the community. When families enter into the program a comprehensive assessment is conducted to identify what is needed to attain stability. In addition to shelter, a person may require education, job placement, transportation, mental health services, parenting support, and childcare.
