Eligibility
Customers must have an active SNAP card to use SNAP Funds at BFM.
Hours
Operate in-person May - November. Normal in-person market hours are 3-6:30pm. In November, we close at 6pm to account for the time change.
Online ordering is open Thursday @6am - Monday @3am. Pick up is on Tuesday from 4-6pm.
Application process
In-person and online market. Shopping in-person: Swipe your SNAP/EBT card at the Welcome Tent for your requested amount. Receive Red SNAP Tokens in requested amount. Customers will also receive an equal amount of Virginia Fresh Match tokens completely free to them to use for fresh fruits and vegetables. Curbside pickup available for online orders.
Fees
A $5 Curbside Fee per order. To use SNAP at the market, bring your card and swipe for tokens at the Welcome Tent.
