Offers support, accompaniment, basic information, and advocacy to victims and survivors of sexual assault. However, these services do not provide any type of legal advice. Anyone needing detailed information about the criminal justice process or advice from an attorney is offered referrals in addition to our other services.

Collins Center is a community-based organization whose mission is to promote healing through compassionate and collaborative services to all affected by sexual harm. Collins Center serves the City of Harrisonburg, Rockingham County, Page County, and surrounding communities in the Shenandoah Valley. Collins Center provides free and confidential sexual assault response and advocacy including a 24-hour crisis hotline, information and referrals, trauma-informed counseling, medical and legal advocacy, community education, and a nationally-accredited Child Advocacy Center.
