Description
The Vocational Rehabilitation program helps people who are blind, vision impaired, or deafblind prepare for, find, keep, or return to work. Each person’s plan is built around their unique strengths, needs, interests, and goals. The program offers a variety of services, such as training to adjust to vision loss, career counseling, education or job training after high school, tools and equipment for work, and help finding and keeping a job. It can also include changes to make school or job sites more accessible. The main goal is to support individuals in becoming active and successful members of the workforce.

DBVI provides services and resources which empower individuals who are blind, vision impaired or deafblind to achieve their desired levels of employment, education, and personal independence.
