Description

Assists epidemiologists with investigations of communicable disease outbreaks in the community and provides education to the community about prevention and protection; provides immunizations in a clinical setting as well as the community; provides follow up care for people who require medical treatment for Tuberculosis infection or disease. Also provides screening services at health fairs, serving on speaker's bureaus and various community advisory boards. *The Hampton Health Department no longer provides patient care in the home.
