Direct and/or purchased services are provided to children by regulated or non-regulated providers for 23 hours or less per day. Child care services may be provided for children from birth to 13 years of age; however, local agency discretion is used in cases of children from 13 years of age and older. There are several categories of child care services: TANF/Working, TANF Education/Training, Transitional, Fee System/At Risk, Fee System/Block Grant. Some customers have to pay a portion of their income based on a fee scale.
