Description
Provides fuel assistance through a program funded by the Shenandoah Valley Electric Cooperative Energy Assistance program and administered by Shenandoah County Social Services. Applications are accepted beginning October 9 with distribution of funds and pay out in January. Applications are taken until funds are exhausted. The program helps those in need regardless of the type of heat used and only after all other assistance has been exhausted.
