Eligibility
Shenandoah County residents who have received a late/shut-off notice. In order to be considered for utility assistance the household must have suffered a financial crisis in the last 60 days.

Application process
​​To apply for partial rent/mortgage or utility assistance, clients in need must contact the SAS office at (540) 459-3212, ext. 303 to complete an Assessment.

Shenandoah, VA
Financial assistance with water or electric disconnection notice. Also assists with heat source bills i.e. oil, gas, wood.
Providing organization
Shenandoah Alliance for Shelter
Provides short-term, needs-based rental assistance through federally and state funded grants that serve the homeless and near-homeless families and individuals in Shenandoah, Page and Warren Counties. Also administers utility assistance to households in Shenandoah County only.
