Provides multidisciplinary evaluations for children who are suspected of having a development delay or who have a diagnosed handicapping condition; development of an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) to meet outcomes desired by the family; physical, occupational and speech therapy; special instruction for infants and toddlers who are eligible under IDEA Part C. Part of the Virginia Infant & Toddler Connection.

To provide services for families of infants and toddlers, birth through two years of age, who have a disability, developmental delay or are displaying atypical development. Early intervention (EI) services focus on increasing a child's participation in family and community activities. Supports and services assist parents and other caregivers discover ways to help their child learn and grow through their everyday activities. Services are available for all eligible children/families regardless of the family's ability to pay, which is determined through our Family Cost Share Process.
