Substance Use/Day Treatment - Roanoke, Day Treatment and Intensive Outpatient Programming (IOP), Blue Ridge Behavioral Healthcare
A continuum of intensive outpatient services for adults with serious substance use disorders, primarily offered in group therapy meeting multiple times each week. Two day treatment services, one for those with a primary mental illness and one for those with a primary substance diagnosis, both meet for three or four hours each day. Those who have co-occurring mental and substance disorders are served in all groups.

Blue Ridge Behavioral Healthcare (BRBH) is one of forty Community Services Boards established under the Code of Virginia to provide comprehensive services for individuals who have mental health disorders, intellectual disability, or substance use disorders. We are charged also with continuously monitoring and evaluating our services to ensure their cost effectiveness and applicability to current citizen needs. BRBH operates multiple programs throughout the Roanoke Valley.
