LOVE INC
Provides a clearinghouse ministry, Love in the Name of Christ, that serves to bridge the gap between people in need and church volunteers. These volunteers come from every type of cultural, economic and denominational background. People in need can call in with a request for services and then be matched with local church volunteers who offer services to the disadvantaged including budget planning, respite care, home maintenance, transportation, paralegal/medical services, shopping, tutoring, mentoring, temporary child care, emotional and spiritual support and friendship and visitation with the elderly and disabled. Clients needing transportation can also request to be placed on a car donation list for a used vehicle, as automobiles become available in the community. We also have a furniture ministry.
