Areas Served: Counties of Dinwiddie, Greensville, Prince George, Surry, Sussex, Cities of Colonial Heights, Emporia, Hopewell, Petersburg. Provides therapy/specialized services for families with at-risk and developmentally disabled infants and toddlers, ages newborn to 3; matches parents of children with similar needs. Provides developmental evaluations; pediatric occupational, physical and speech therapy; educational and behavioral instruction; service coordination to families. There is no fee charged for evaluations or service coordination. Fees are charged for Educational/behavioral intervention, occupational, physical, and speech therapies.

Early intervention supports and services focus on increasing the child's participation in family and community activities that are important to the family. The supports and services provided include, but are not limited to, Service Coordination (Case Management), Occupational Therapy, Developmental Services, Speech Therapy and/or Physical Therapy. These supports and services can take place in the home or community settings (i.e. library, park, daycare), places where the family spends time.. Serves children from District 19 region (Colonial Heights, Hopewell, Petersburg, Emporia and Dinwiddie, Greensville, Prince George, Surry and Sussex Counties)
