Children must be 4 years old on or before Sept. 30 of the upcoming school year and reside within Chesterfield County. There are no exceptions to age and residency requirements.

Description

Families of 4 year old children who meet Federal income guidelines and live in designated attendance zones may be eligible. Center based program services are available for specified school attendance areas. Families should contact the Head Start office for more information regarding eligibility and registration. Center Based - pre-school program operating five days a week at designated sites. Eleven classrooms located on site of the following schools: Bellwood, Bensely, Chalkley, Ettrick, AM Davis, Falling Creek, Harrowgate, Hopkins and Elizabeth Scott.
