A family with children age 3-21 or independent youth between the ages of 3 and 21 who has moved from one school district to another within the past three years for the purpose of finding agricultural work.

Albemarle Regional Migrant Education
Provides supplemental educational services to the children, aged 3-21, of migrant farm workers and highly mobile agricultural laborers. Programs provide advocacy, homework help, summer academic support, and young adult ESL classes. The purpose of these services is to enable migrant students to learn English, reach challenging state academic goals, receive a high school diploma or GED, continue post secondary education, and improve employment opportunities. Volunteers and staff go to homes, schools, and migrant work camps to work with individuals and families.
