Financial Counseling - Gate City, Financial Opportunities Center, Appalachian Community Action and Development Agency

AppCAA provides financial education through group and individual workshops designed for adults seeking to strengthen their financial well-being. Topics include budgeting and saving strategies, debt reduction, credit building, fraud prevention, and pathways to financial independence. Workshops are approximately one hour in length and available both in person and virtually to increase accessibility. In addition to workshops, AppCAA offers confidential one-on-one financial counseling. Certified counselors work with participants to create personalized budgets, evaluate financial products and services, and develop actionable plans to improve their overall financial stability.
