Designed to prevent institutionalization and repetitive inpatient stays, mental health support services work closely with the client, forming a service plan which address unique needs and personal goals. Problem areas are targeted and addresses. New skills are taught, enabling a higher functioning lifestyle. The client's counselor will work with him in his home as well as in the community.
