Housing Ownership - Palmyra, Habitat for Humanity Fluvanna County

Build homes in partnership with lower income families who are willing to help build their own home as well as other homes. Homes are built by volunteers and homeowners, known as partner families. Homes are sold to partner families with a low interest mortgage. Habitat families are selected by: 1) completion of application and credit report; 2) ability to repay mortgage; 3) inability to obtain conventional financing for a home; 4) living in substandard housing or homeless; 5) meet income requirements and 6) agree to partner with affiliate. Volunteers welcomed from all walks of life.
