Application process

Please bring the following items with you to registration: Picture ID (Alexandria, Ft. Belvoir, or Lorton, VA Residents (zip codes 22301-22315, 22060, 22079 only) Birth Certificates for all children 12 years and younger Proof of Residency (Current Lease or rent receipts) If you are not the lease holder, please have a notarized letter stating that you and your children live there. If you are residing at a shelter you must have a letter from the shelter.

Matches low income children and families with donors to assist them in receiving holiday assistance and gifts. Holiday assistance is in the form of toys and some clothing based on each Angel Tree Sponsor. The dates will be sent to school systems and social service providers. There is a limited number of children we are able to find sponsors for.

The Salvation Army Alexandria Corps is the focal point for Salvation Army activities and programs tailored to the needs of the Alexandria community. The Alexandria Corps has worship opportunities as well as music, educational and social activities for adults and youth. In addition, we provide basic services to those in need through our social services program.
