Education Alternative - Midland, Fauquier County Public Schools
Provides an alternative education based on the premise that all students can learn, but not all students learn the same or as effectively. At Southeastern, students in grades 7-12 are grouped with a faculty/student ratio of 1:10. In these small groupings, students are able to receive both individual instructional support and socialization with peers; both essential elements for success in any learning environment. Southeastern utilizes various learning modalities including: direct instruction, computer instruction, independent and accelerated studies and meaningful work experiences in the community.
