Description
Provides assistance to ex-offenders and their families with employment, court issues, housing search. Provide volunteers for visits to jail and educational services. Reentry services provide pre and post release services with 6 weeks of classes in Thinking for a Change, employability, parenting, wellness and emotional literacy for men and women in the Reentry Programs at the Albemarle Charlottesville Regional Jail (ACRJ). also offer Transitional planning to individuals 30 to 45 days from release through collaboration with ACRJ, OAR and community agencies and organizations concerned with assisting inmates in a smooth transition home.
