Boy Scouts of America - Tidewater Council
The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes. The BSA also provide programs of character building, leadership development, citizenship training, and personal fitness by instilling values and ideals that prepare young people to make lifelong ethical choices. Tidewater Council prepares youth to successfully handle the complexities of today's society and to enhance their self-confidence, motivation, and self-worth. We teach low-income, culturally diverse, and at-risk youth constructive means in which to solve their problems, rather than resorting to crime or substance abuse.
