The Victim/Witness Assistance Program, operating within the office of the Commonwealth's Attorney, provides assistance to victims and witnesses of crime throughout the criminal justice process to ensure they are treated fairly and compassionately. This program also makes referrals to community services available to crime victims and witnesses.
