Must live in Dominion Power service area and be in danger of losing an important source of heat, have a household income no higher than one-half of the local median income level, be unemployed or demonstrate a family crisis.

For those facing financial hardship from unemployment, a family crisis, or a chronic medical condition, EnergyShare is Dominion's energy assistance program of last resort. There is no income guideline requirement, however, clients must have a disconnect notice. EnergyShare intake agencies determine eligibility for EnergyShare and may have additional requirements when qualifying customers for this program.
