Substance Use-Halfway House - Arlington, Independence House, National Capital Treatment & Recovery
Independence House provides a therapeutic, flexible-length, structured living environment for clients after completion of residential or outpatient treatment. Patients receive individualized plans that address strengths, needs, abilities and preferences, and must be attending or seeking employment, volunteer work, or training. We also offer vocational assistance in partnership with local employment services.The program is a three to twelve month transitional living program intended to provide a supportive, structured and supervised living environment to men recovering from substance abuse. Patients must be Arlington residents. Length of stay varies and is based on an individual's progress and clinical condition.

Provide residential, transitional, and outpatient treatment with gender-specific programs available for both adults and teens. A Spanish-speaking men’s residential program is also available. Evidenced based treatments to address a wide range of addiction and co-occurring mental health problems, and treatment regimen includes medication management and medication-assisted treatment as appropriate. Assessment center provides comprehensive evaluations of substance use disorder, addiction, and related mental health problems in order to identify the most appropriate treatment for each patient.
