Description

Offers parenting classes (6 evening classes for a total of 12 hours of parenting information for parents of children age 0 to 17). Childcare may be available for children, age 0-12, whose parents are attending parenting class-call to verify Teen class is offered to teens age 13-17. In addition to a brief overview of child development, key concepts such as parenting styles, safety, effective communication, stressors, self-esteem, conflict resolution, problem solving and appropriate and effective discipline techniques are covered. Offers parents the opportunity to learn more about themselves, their children and to develop improved parenting skills.
