For those facing financial hardship from unemployment, a family crisis, or a chronic medical condition, EnergyShare is Dominion's energy assistance program of last resort. There is no income guideline requirement, however, clients must have a disconnect notice. EnergyShare intake agencies determine eligibility for EnergyShare and may have additional requirements when qualifying customers for this program.

From their current location on Ashby Avenue they meet the needs of those caught in emergencies, those down trodden and less fortunate, those abused, and all who have lost their way. The Salvation Army stands with a caring community to provide shelter, clothes, food, counseling, job search assistance, and Spiritual Guidance.
