Current disability related information on programs, resources and support services is offered to the public. Frequent requests for information and referral include information on support services such as Medicaid Waivers, subsidized housing options in our local area, funding for home modifications, and types of assistive technology. Information may be given on other community organizations and programs.
Endependence Center
Offers services to people with disabilities including peer mentoring, information and referral, individual and systems advocacy, independent living skills training, transition services to youth and those in institutions, accessible and affordable housing information, career supports, assistive technology for deaf and hard of hearing, and transportation to services at the Center.
