For those facing financial hardship from unemployment, a family crisis, or a chronic medical condition, EnergyShare is Dominion's energy assistance program of last resort. There is no income guideline requirement, however, clients must have a disconnect notice. EnergyShare intake agencies determine eligibility for EnergyShare and may have additional requirements when qualifying customers for this program.

Assistance for food, utilities, rent, housing and other needs is determined by need and the availability of resources to meet that need.
