Eligibility

Individuals with disabilities who want to find a job through our Supported Employment program or be part of our Pre-ETS program must have a vocational counselor assigned to them through an open case with Virginia’s Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services (DARS) or Virginia’s Department for the Blind and Vision Impaired (DBVI).

Description

Employment Services provides long-term employment, training, and supports for people with intellectual, developmental, and other disabilities at our site in Hampton. Employment Services offered through Government Contract work across the Nation. Employment Services provide adult students with disabilities the opportunity to participate in certification programs, preparing them for life-long careers in high-demand industries resulting in economic independence. Supported Employment helps people with disabilities gain employment with businesses in the community. Day Support provided to people with intellectual, developmental, and other disabilities at our site in Hampton. In this program, people with disabilities work on life and social skills, and also volunteer/participate in the community.

VersAbility Resources supports people with disabilities in leading productive and fulfilling lives through early childhood, day support, community living, and diverse employment programs. Services are provided throughout Hampton Roads and the Middle Peninsula/Northern Neck region.
