Eligibility

Must be 18+ years old and in Virginia. Must have a physical disability with financial hardship. Considered a last resort when insurance, Medicare or Medicaid will not provide. You are required to complete an online application and a note from a medical professional.

8am to 4pm on Mondays and Tuesdays and 9am to 4pm on Thursdays

F.R.E.E. is a nonprofit that provides mobility rehabilitation equipment, such as wheelchairs, walkers, bedside commodes, shower chairs, etc., to help people regain their mobility and independence. FREE collects, sanitizes, and provides donated mobility equipment to low-income adults in Virginia who cannot afford it and whose insurance will not cover it.
