Provides a food clearinghouse that solicits for, collects, and distributes food to 501(c)3 non-profit organizations and qualified religious organizations. The Food Bank's mission is to improve food insecurity through equitable access to good nutrition and the resources that support health and well-being. The Blue Ridge Area Food Bank serves the Western Region from the Verona branch headquarters, the Northern Region from the Winchester branch, the Eastern Region from the Charlottesville branch, and the Southern Region from the Lynchburg branch.
