Description
Assists refugees as they integrate into the United States. Services include: *Housing by finding and furnishing apartments and pantries; *Meets refugees at the airport and ensures clothing and food is available; *Provides orientation to the community, laws, customs, and practices; *Offers intensive case management to ensure needs are met including: legal documents, health care, basic resources, transportation, and interpretation; *Secures early employment placement and orientation; *Offers English (ESL) instruction and educational planning; *Provides family mentorship; *School Liaison Services to help children catch up to grade level.
