Description
Offers parenting classes and related programs to graduate students, local schools and parents throughout Lynchburg and the Central Virginia area. The classes teach parents positive discipline skills and how to encourage their children, which helps to foster their success in school. The center also provides a variety of related services, including such special programs for parents as a class that offers families of children with school behavioral problems an alternative to school suspension. Classes are taught in the community, access by bus/wheelchair, etc. may vary.
