Crisis Intervention/Prevention - Hampton, Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities, Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board
Provides crisis intervention, prevention, and therapeutic respite services to adults with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities and behavioral challenges or mental health concerns. START is available 24/7 to address crisis situations through telephone consults and/or face to face assessments. Ongoing services will assist with working with the person and his/her system of support to identify areas of concern and design a plan to prevent and/or provide intervention in the event of a crisis.
