The Commissioner of the Revenue is responsible for assessing all real estate, personal property, business personal property, machinery & tools, and merchants’ capital within Lee County. This office is also responsible for maintaining the County's real estate and personal property tax assessment records. The real estate tax relief programs for the elderly and disabled, disabled veterans, and surviving spouses of officers killed in the line of duty are also administered by the Commissioner’s Office.
