Description
The mission of the Department of Juvenile Justice is to assure the protection of the citizens of the Commonwealth through the development of policies, programs and institutions to assist the courts in holding juveniles accountable for their actions and by affording them opportunities for reform. The Court Service Unit is the intake arm of J&D Relations Court. Assist parties in filing delinquency petitions; Petitions for protective orders. Custody and visitation and support petitions; Involuntary commitment petitions; Child in need of services and child in need of supervision; Neglect petitions, emancipation, entrustment.
