Habitat families are selected: 1) completion of application and credit report, 2) ability to pay mortgage, 3) inability to obtain conventional financing for a home, 4) living in substandard housing, 5) meet income requirements and 6) agree to partner with affiliate.

A Christian ministry that builds decent, affordable houses for those in need. Houses are sold to partner families at no profit and with no interest mortgages. Average of 3-4 houses per year are built. Also, completes critical home repairs and aging in place modifications for owner-occupied homes. Serves Clarke, Frederick, and Shenandoah County and the City of Winchester.
